Alexander So

Alexander So is the founder and co-principal investigator of the Hong Kong University Equine Analytics and Bioinformatics Lab. Growing up in a horse-loving family has helped me appreciate the horse experience as an owner and as a fan of racing. I am very interested in educating others and developing ways to improve the welfare of horses. The goal of my research is to utilize artificial intelligence, data science, visual computing, and bioinformatics to develop new technologies that enhance the precision and scalability of equine welfare. Alexander in charge of working with John Foote on inspections, managing racing interests, and goal-setting for So Bloodstock.

Chris started his love affair with horses at the age of 12, watching his first season of racing in 1982. Ever since then, Chris has dreamed of one day owning a horse and cementing racing as a family tradition. Chris frequently attends yearling sales worldwide and conducts inspections with his son, Alex. Chris is in charge of accounting and vision setting at So Bloodstock.
